The Annual Walk to Remember is one of Alzheimer's Services largest awareness and fundraising events of the year and a community event for the Greater Baton Rouge and Capital area region.
WHEN: Saturday, November 6th, from 8AM-12PM
8AM- Event Opens
9AM- Walk Starts
WHERE: The Blue Cross Blue Shield of Louisiana offices off Bluebonnet Blvd. in Baton Rouge right off of I-10
WHAT: A one mile walk route, live music with local band Three Blind Mice, a Memory Market full of local exhibitors, free cold drinks and jambalaya bowls, and the Children's Village. The walk is wheelchair, walker, stroller, and wagon accessible!
The Children's Village is a fun destination for families at the walk. We'll have a fall themed scavenger hunt you can use along the walk route, clowns making balloon animals, facepainting, carnival style game stations, a live firetruck on site, Fall themed coloring craft, and a Fall-themed family photo set up and backdrop.
We are excited to announce this year's Honorary Chair is Michael Tipton, President of the Blue Cross Blue Shield of Louisiana Foundation
Tuesday, October 5th- Team Captain Kick-Off Luncheon from 12-1pm at Goodwood Library. Registration Required HERE
Wednesday, November 3rd- Pre-Registration Day- drop by our office anytime from 8am to 4pm to pick up prizes, T-shirts, or drop off money or checks
